The Jets just lost the first pick

How do you know he’s not happy? Have you spoke to Trev? He’s probably still excited about beating up on my Irish yesterday & looking forward to the Buckeyes. He may be delighted about not having to live NYC or Jersey.

Lol ok.

Tons of people want to live in New York, especially athletes who are building a brand. You’re off your rocker if you think that many people think New York is a shithole but I digress, to each their own. New York averages a little more than half of that snow total btw.
Eli Manning refused to play for San Diego. Gosh, what a shithole that city is.

Furthermore, players don’t really care too much about the city. They live in the rich parts and likely don’t live in the city during the offseason.

I highly doubt Lawrence is saying to himself that he hopes the Jets don’t draft him because New York is a shithole. It would likely be because the Jets are one of the worst sports organizations. The reality is that 99% of players would be thrilled to be living out their dream regardless of who picks them.

yes but they got a ton of chances to really strengthen their team with all those picks and come out noticeably better.

NYC is losing people in droves

He’ll make wherever he goes relevant.

Lawrence will change the next 2 decades of the franchise lucky enough to get him.

I just wish the lions could find a way to get him. Impossible, but I’m addicted to hopium.

Too expensive to live in New York and a lot of people are struggling financially.

How soon they forget.

He gets to stay in the southeast. People from this area love that. It’s a comfortable familiar culture for them. I could see him going anywhere just because. NYC is no natural fit. Jax is.

They also may get a swing at Dabo. Idk why they wouldn’t pursue that successful combo.

Rodgers in Green Bay.

Mahomes in Kansas City

Mayfield in Cleveland. CLEVELAND.

Those QBs seem to be doing fine marketing wise for not being in NY.

No such luck, we’re back down to 11. Lots of teams we needed to win…lost.

We’ll finish around pick 8 IMO

Looks like next week that Houston, LA, One of Philly or Dallas SHOULD all win. Carolina has a shot against Washington as well.

Micah Parson is an impact player. He’s the type of guy you can build a team around and in Saleh’s defense a MLB with range is extremely important.

He’s a true difference maker. A player that will give your defense an identity. I believe he can be a Brian Urlacher type of impact.

I was thinking 8th or 9th before today. Now I think 9th is the best we will be. Most likely 10th.

Which sucks because I’m expecting Parsons to fall around 8th or 9th and I think he’s likely the best case scenario for us.

Houston will beat Cincinnati and one of Philly or Dallas has to win next week. That gets us to 9.

Chargers over Broncos
NYG over Dallas
Carolina over Washington

I think we get at least one of those to fall our way.

Get two of those and an ATL upset of TB and we’re up to 6. That seems like a bit much to ask.

8 is definitely doable IMO.

Jacksonville is fantastic. So is NYC, but in a very different way.

What is interesting now is if the Jets take Fields…do they keep Darnell? Or do they Josh Rosen him?

NY or Jacksonville… Even if Jags are slightly worse I think many would like warmer weather and no state income tax over the alternative.

Jacksonville Florida might as well be Alabama.

I hate New York but calling the meth capital of the South a beautiful city and New York city a shithole is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read on this message board.

Will the Lions be in a position to be awarded ANY Supplemental Draft Picks??..Even a 7th???..Otherwise,seems likely the Lions will be trading back somewhat in Day 2, for a later pick, which historically, shows has little or no chance of having a meaningful length career. I know, exception DO HAPPEN…Maybe they can trade a player on the current roster for a Pick? Problem is the Lions have few, if any, players of notable value anyone would be interested in, especially with the Salary Cap to lower…Hope springs Eternal !!..
