The NFL's suspension of Jameson Williams for sports betting looks increasingly unreasonable

I really hope one of two scenarios is true …

— Lions/Jamo appeal suspension at some point as more pushback comes to light, especially if NFLPA gets more involved.
— Lions/Jamo/NFL have an understanding that penalty will be lessened as the season nears, as long as everyone shuts the hell up about it, because the league would prefer that everyone knows to take it seriously; something like, “We’ve further clarified this rule, and it will now be prioritized in off-season education regimen, etc etc” so that if anyone makes this mistake, the penalty will stick.

No that was correct.

As part of the agremeent to allow betting, the books had to employ a 3rd party service that handles all their data security. This is who caught it. We linked thr company when all this came out. Just google it and itll pop up.
