Does anyone have an opinion on the talent level of the defense that Glenn is inheriting with the jets? They were great under Salah… Just curious if the Jets defense regresses, do we call it a talent issue or is it a Glenn issue? I know it’s not that cut and dry.

The Jets defense was all over the map with Saleh. In Saleh’s first season, they were the worst defense in football. Then in year 2 they were the 4th ranked defense. The next 2 years they were 12th and 20th in points allowed.

I am trying to watch all the games at once but the one game that is grabbing my attention is the Jets Steelers game..
With Fields going to the Jets and Rogers going to the Steelers the league has created a QB controversy week one.
If the Jets win the Steers fans will be having a “Field’s” day complaining about Rogers and I will love it.

I think my wait and then take Maye and Fields at QB strategy may work out well. Outside of the one league in which I kept Lamar.
I’m watching that one too. Remember that Tanner Engstram is the Jets’ OC coming over with AG. Their offense with Fields is looking good. Lots of references to the “Dan Campbell influence”. I’d usually be rooting for the Steelers, but find myself rooting for the Jets with all the ex-Lions.

Mike McDaniels might not survive this week, let alone the season if the 2nd half of that game is anything like the 1st.

Yep I’ve always liked Tanner and felt he was a big loss for us. His offense looks damn good. Everyone’s expecting Morton to have struggles and I’m just not buying it. Especially with Dan heavily involved in the play calls.
I think the Lions will come out firing on all cylinder. Theres just too much talent on the Lions.
I really hope the Jets win

Why does Pittsburgh get to have players run on the field to push and shove with no penalty?
Colts are spanking the Dolphins. Daniel Jones is looking good. Anthony Richardson is going to have a hard time getting his spot back if Jones keeps playing like that.
Maybe he will be the new Hooker for us next year
