The same thing “pattern recognition specialists” have seen over the last couple decades.
If you can’t see it by now there’s nothing anyone can say that’ll open your eyes
It’s gotta come from within
So tell me.
I see several elements.
First, there is the tick research Gates supports to help farmers save herds in developing countries. That would only increase the meat being consumed there, not reduce it.
I see a nutty academic bioethicist saying something at a conference related to the Lone Star tick, which is non-GMO species. Nobody takes that guy seriously.
Bill Gates supports lab-grown meat as a way to abate climate change. So do I and many, many other people. It doesn’t I or anyone else want to force people to eat it, but if it is successful in the marketplace that’s a big win.
The “journalist” who made this newsy video is a far-right content creator.
She, and people like her, put these elements together and the takeaway for non-critical thinkers is “Bill Gates wants to bioengineer a tick to make you allergic to meat”.
