Tigers off season

Lets get it started.

One great 2 and months

I think they need two bats.

And one SP.

Hopefully Olson develops into a true 2nd guy in the rotation so we can spend all our money (hopefully) on bats.

And we need a third starting pitcher.

Olson is a number 3/4. Jobe hope can be a two in a few years. Probably be in the rotation next year

We also need to add power. Someone that is a threat to hit a homer every pitch…like J Ram is for the Guardians.

I’m ready to trade Torkelson. The ESPN article that just came out mentioned both Pete Alonso and Cody Bellinger as possible targets this offseason. I wouldn’t mind Alonso.

I think Alonso would cost a ton.

Beating teams like the Yankees costs a ton

I’m a big Bellinger fan but you never know what you will get year to year.

Alonso is a great source of power, but that average, yuck.

Sign Bregman, trade for a big bat, then sign Flaherty or Fried for the rotation.

I would go after Bellinger
He can play multiple positions and gives us a good bat

The get Bregman add a mid tier starter

I really wonder if some team out there would view Tork as a player that still has massive upside.

The lower salary tiered teams are always wanting those cost controlled guys.

I would like to see us add a couple high Batting Average players versus Home Run power hitters. Comerica seems to destroy home run hitters we sign.

Very good point… That is a pitchers park all day

I wanted Luis Arraez a couple of years ago, and I still want him today

True, but need a dude that teams fear. Find some pop and find a dude that just gets on base. Plus we just saw 3 hrs at Comerica park Thursday

“No room for bats” is what cost them this series.

That’s what they need to fix.

Do I expect Cheapskate Chris to fix it? No.

F***ing Lane Thomas.

I just had to get that off my chest.

The Tigers have entered a new era, we are now a playoff team. It is time for Chris to step up, will he? I say yes he will.
Time will tell, but we have great youth to build on, now is the time. If Chris sits on his hands, I will be enemy #1!
