I think the biggest need for this team is bullpen by a wide margin over a bat.

Trading Skubal gets you some pieces for this year and going forward, starting pitching remaining is still good. Add couple pen guys and Montero back to the rotation as a result.

This bullpen cannot win a World Series. They’re practically unplayable. That has to change.
When one gets to the playoffs the starting rotation can be shortened which adds to the bullpen’s talent level.
Starters include Mize, Framber, Melton, Jack F. and Skubal. Keider Montaro is a valuable 6th arm.
Melton and Keider might make Skubal available. Jobe lurks out there too.
Team needs: a real 3rd baseman. An upgrade at center. If we trade Skubal I think it is for win now players.
