I get it. He is really inconsistent in really long stretches. It’s kind of strange really. Hopefully he gets more consistent as he ages. He’s been around so long that it’s easy to forget he’s only 25 years old.
It’s been night and day over the past couple of months when he’s been in the lineup and when he’s not. Seems to be hitting very well and has been a catalyst for team success. As crazy as it seems, we are still not out of it mathematically.
in 2024 we had a 0.2% chance to make the playoffs. Some oddsmakers have us at 1% right now. So that’s 5x better. ![]()

Looks like we have found our 2nd baseman of the future. Lee has got some pop in his bat. More HRs in less PAs than Gleyber, only 23 years old and won’t cost $20M.
Tigers should jettison Gleyber and McKinstry and use Lee and Max Anderson as our 2nd basemen. They should have actually released McKinstry by now and see what Anderson could do at the majors. But then again, Zack is one of AJs boys.

Just think if the Tigers got hot ![]()
The thing about (Chris) Ilitch owned teams is they will get your post season hopes up only to crush your spirit. After this whole Yzerman debacle with the Wings and the ensuing “GM search” it’s readily apparent that these teams are run by people completely in over their heads. The common denominator with both of these teams is ownership and you can see many of the same issues with both teams. Need to get the right people in place and actually let them do their job instead of micromanaging behind the scenes.
Don’t let the tigers get hot

I love this teams future so much. Clark and McGonigle alone would be a homerun, but there are more guys coming with great tools.
I don’t know if I have seen two guys this talented that came from the same draft. Harris gets alot of hate, some of it deserved, but he has done some great things too.
The Wings suck but this Tigers team is headed in the right direction.
Hope and Rainer are heading to AZ fall league.

Clark, McG and Green are a 3 headed monster and all 3 should be hitting in the top 5 slots next year.
As for playoff hopes, too many teams ahead of them and they play each other in many cases so someone always win. Jays, for example, play Texas then Baltimore next.
The good news is that they are still battling and this could be a catalyst for next year providing they improve the bullpen

The Jays throwing Mad Max today with his 6.50 era. In the words of @KarlKaliente we’re good!
I liked the fantasy football story the Jays ’ announcer told about Scherzer and Alex Avila.
Obviously, fielding is a need to get better area for the youngsters. That has been apparent for a while.
Man the White Sox sure are choking. The Guardians now have the division lead.
White Sox are 5 and 12 in their last 17 games.

I kind of checked out on the baseball season right before the Tigers started winning. Apparently, my jinx doesn’t just work on the Buckeyes. It’s more fun on the Buckeye’s though. I might drive through Columbus when they play Michigan just to bring my curse back.
