What the F happened to Dingler? I’m really concerned about him.
When he got hot with the bat it didnt seem possible he would slump but he has and is back down to 240 average.
Load management is something to be considered with catchers and the slump came later in the season. Might not be the only answer but is probably part of it.
Good news is that he’s still young and part of a solid core

Check Smith’s game log the last month. Looks a lot like Finnegan’s…pretty ugly.
Spark has had some really nice ABs where he just lays that bat out late and zings it down the 3b line. Really advanced feel for a guy with 150 mlb at bats…

And Dingler. He wore down, but a 30 hr GG catcher is very Pudge/Parrish/Freehan-y
( yes I know Freehan didnt hit 30 ever, but if you normalize his stats from the ridiculous 1967-68, he is right there)

Wish me luck tonight guys. I did decide to join the football team this year (playing CB and RB) and we have our first home game tonight. We are 3-0 on the season with all 3 wins coming on the road. We look really good this year.

I do pretty good at CB. Not great but I hold my own.
I’m more excited about playing offense tonight. It will be the first time this year. They only put a package of three plays in for me but they are pretty cool plays.

I actually told my wife he shouldn’t throw ANYTHING to Murakami..

We won 27-0. I had 3 carries. Got stopped behind the line twice, and converted a 2 pointer on a jet sweep. Most important we are 4-0

Has anybody heard from @frm710? I thought it was unusual that he didn’t start the GDT, and I haven’t seen him post anything lately.
He was pretty annoyed by all the negativity last week. And after last nights performance, I’m sure he’s just taking a much needed den break.
