I put this on Hinch. He ■■■■■ around putting 300-pound pitchers in with the game on the line. Well, it all comes down to that one game he ■■■■■■ off on.
Might sound crazy. But this an epic collapse.
Why not call a couple up your best prospects right now? What do you have to lose? Might bring some excitement into the locker room? Can’t be any worse.
Don’t need McGonigle’s indoctrination into the major league to be into what is surely a depressed and lost locker room.
That’s a lot of pressure I’m not sure I would do that. All these guys are professionals and in some cases get paid a shitload of money they just have to reach down and find their testicles and actually play some baseball
I wasn’t one of them
We have five players with any semblance of mental toughness:
Skubal
Finnegan
ZMac
Tork
Carp
Melton
Everyone else can ■■■■■■■ go. No mental toughness whatsoever.
And Skubal is long gone after next year.
Including their circus leader Harris. He’s developed the farm system and gotten good prospects, to his credit, but he’s made like two roster moves in three years that shows he can manage at the major league level.
They need to just trade him this offseason.
In my defense
I assumed I would lose…I never win. I’m Mushman from The Bronx Tale.(based on a real person)
And the fat lady hasn’t sung yet. My betting curse is still alive. Just as inaccurate as @Bols gummy assisted dreams. However, if the Tigers blow it, at least I can buy a nice bottle of Pappy to wash my sorrows away.
I’m actually trying my best to jinx my wager…guess I need to keep posting my bet every game in hopes the sports gods make me eat big old plate of crow dicks after all this hullabaloo
If you wont spend trade your best players. If prospects mean more then that shall be the plan
If they trade Skubal than can get even more prospects that they can fail to promote over Sweeney. I’m surprised they haven’t had wet dreams about it.
Harris is doing this right now thinking about it:

It’s not that people expected us to be “all good,” its that they either expected the house of cards to show itself, or the “lucky heater” to continue.
This team as it has appeared the last 15 days isn’t Suarez or whoever away. We are 26-31 since the All Star break.
we are 6-18 since August 24th… 14 of those 24 games we e allowed 6 or more runs. I’m sorry but starting pitching, relief, and two bats is what we’ve needed the last 25 games. That was never coming at the deadline.
Right now the rest of the league is hoping the Tigers pull this one out because nobody wants to play Cleveland in the playoffs
I don’t think Cleveland is actually good.
I’m going to rewatch Better Call Saul tonight just to see the episode where Don Hector shoots Nacho five extra times. Oh yeah spoiler alert
I know you are being a smartass but I feel like they should try to sign him long term, and if they can’t, then trade him.
Those should be the only 2 options this off-season.
