This may be news to that dude but I’m pretty sure second base isn’t set up in right field.

Lol yeah… this is Workman’s second game up now right? Just know he’s gotta feel worse about that than anyone.

This should be your new pfp.

I’m pretty sure I could do as well as Vanasco. Tigers sure do know how to find them.

I rewatched this about 20 times this morning. It was 100% on the ref. He was completely out of position. I don’t understand why he moved directly into the base path, and it’s especially bad that he was standing there looking to see where the ball went and was completely unaware of the things going on around him.

Luckily it didn’t really affect the outcome of the game.

My MRI results came back and I have a grade 2 strain (partial tear) so my baseball season is over.

Ive been reduced to the Olgilvie of the team. Keeping score and cracking jokes. I started calling homers “dongs” a couple weeks ago and everyone thought it was funny as hell. Now they use the term. You started something.

It just happens that the guy on our team with the most power his last name is Short. He hit a homerun the other day and I hollard “its a short dong”. Even my coaches were laughing so hard they had tears. Shorts face was 20 shades of red rounding the bases (from blushing). Everyone calls him short dong now. Probably a nickname he will carry for life.

You are a bad influence on me @KarlKaliente lol

Unpopular take-Keith was gonna be out and Windmill Cora needs to settle down. The pitcher was Right There backing it up.

Yes, the ball hit the bricks and came right to him, but it’s their home field…they know the little things like that…..AND

Keith slid into a contested tag….no momentim, jump up,start from 0 and chug home? Citi Field has very little foul ground…another reason to back off of being super aggressive. (For fun, look at the pictures of the old A’s park…MASSIVE foul area, which is part of why their pitchers had lower ERAs and batters lower batting averages).

like it was going to really matter cuz they got thumped but you can’t just send guys on everything as a default without really understanding the situation, let alone being really aware and seeing that the UMP probably wasn’t in a good spot for your boy as well. That one I don’t hold against Cora because it’s so uncommon but yeah it was all screwed up and they just need to flush that game and move on

Sorry about the injury.

Thank you.

Tigers with runners on 2nd and 3rd nobody out.

The wind is blowing really really hard to straight away center field. It’s a good night to be starting a ground ball pitcher.

GREENE!

2-0 Tigers
