Verlander on the hump for the last time today. Hope he has a good outing. Curious to see how long Hinch keeps him in. Maybe 3 or 4 innings and then let him tip his hat off and enjoy the celebration.

Wish he wasn’t injured all year…but the injuries ultimately cost him the 300 win goal. Will probably never see a pitcher reach his win level in my lifetime.

Oh well. Best we can hope for is a no decision for JV now. Probably gets one more batter and the final farewell.
So glad he got this chance to pitch his last game in front of the fans. Great outing and I feel privileged I got to witness it.
