Hes a solid option.. he might not look as good here though, since he’s done really well later in his career playing mostly zone coverage..

2028 1st and 2027 3rd for denzel ward plus sign Douglas. Just say eff it kick the can etc. If they dont return to the playoffs and make a run this year the seat will be pretty hot for this regime anyway given we have had two high profile cb’s leave the team due to legal concerns.

Hate saying it since we are coming off 4 straight winning seasons and i thank them for it but they need to continue to raise that bar not rest on the laurels of “good but not quite good enough”.

Gotta bring back Jeff Okudah.

The only place the seat gets even mild warm is with the media and fans.
Dan & Brad most likely can have a 5 year run below 500 and keep their jobs. Sheila is a Ford after all.

Lol didn’t he just retire?

good to see you posting again @FreebirdPartDeux —and wouldn’t mind if we landed Douglas ..

I hope we are planning to use more zone. I don’t think we have the horses to play press, especially now.

For depth maybe. Camp battle with the kids. But our starting DBs are decent i think.

LCB - Reed - Rake - Whiteside

RCB - Rock - Dorsey - Rucker

NB - McCreary - Abney - Brown

SS - Maddox - Clark - Harper

FS - Izien - Jackson - Strickland

Abney could win that starting job next to Reed , he can play outside well even with his lack of size.

I think Abney will be starter somewhere on the field by the end of the season. But to break camp hell be rotating in and out

Abney may turnout to be good a few years down the road but no DC wants to start a rookie at CB. For that position they make a shit load of mistakes that leads to big plays and TD’s.

Arnold started straight out of camp his rookie year.

Big difference between a Mid 1st round pick and a middle of the draft pick.

You expect a first round pick to start.

No expectations for anyone outside of the 2nd round to start
