I was stipud with Marks. I picked him up as a free agent but dropped him for the Rams defense.

I’ve been playing fantasy football since the mid 90’s. Best Ball is without a doubt the best format. No more lineup decisions, no more in game injuries leaving you with a zero, no guys going off on your bench. It all comes down to the draft, and then you just watch.

You can still get in best ball league for the rest of the season on draft kings. So it would be week 5 - week 18. Draft will take you an hour or so. Can play for a $1 or as high as you want to go.
Ok I MUST get into a league like this. I have never heard of this format. And I agree. It should be all about the draft.
That link didn’t work. Go to Draftkings there are best leagues every week that run the rest of the season.
Another one I quite enjoy is the snake drafts. 3-6 person leagues for that week only. Drafts take like 10 minutes.

Back in the day , before smart phones conquered the world. Sure logging in on the computer and making fantasy football lineup decisions was fun.
Now; nobody has time for all that.
And as you mentioned the injuries .

I have a home league that is almost 3 decades old. We FINALLY put a half point PPR in it a couple years ago, but nobody wants to expand the starting lineups. So you get every team with good players going off on your bench, every week.

The FFPC is where I play my best ball leagues.
Those 10 man archaic leagues like this are pointless.
I literally do them just to see old buddies for the live draft.
But it drives me crazy after. I don’t even like looking at it.
In 1 league i have Chase, M Harrison jr, Q Johnston, Keenan Allen, DK Metcalf, Rickey Pearsall, Jerry Jeudy

Yep, that’s exactly it. Nobody will change because they think they are going to ‘out coach’ you, inevitably everyone screws up and plays the wrong guy. Fantasy football shouldn’t be about luck.

Who wants to think they hard every Sunday morning anyways ? It’s way too stressful for not enough reward.

I’m the complete opposite of Brad Holmes, and I’m also not a great coach.
Bad drafter. Usually bad at setting my lineup.
But I am literally the best trading GM in the history of fantasy football.

Fantasy football without trades would be SOOOOO boring.
I’ve found over the years that the key for me is to just trade for a roster where I don’t really have to make tough start/sit decisions. There’s no reason to have a good player on your bench and a solid player in your lineup when you can just have a better player in your starting lineup.
I’m debating trying to trade MHJ and Rashee for JSN, because the manager who has JSN also had Malik Nabers, and his 3rd receiver is now Josh Downs. (He has TMac)
But if I did that, my 3rd receiver would be Travis Hunter, and I’m going to have to go through bye weeks throughout the season.
Maybe I’ll try that if I can get an hour of spare time.
I bet on fan dual every week.
