The more I watched him he just looked like a shitty Devin Taylor that used to play for us 10 years ago
I still like the guy from last year
Ekuban Center Florida
Best out of all these guys.
This local kid RB from Kalamazoo area
He could be a Joique Bell for us
He could beat out Craig for DMONT backup RB4
WR Jackson Meeks got 200K from us for a reason.
âMeeks is physical, tough and plays the game with a desired edge â this was groomed in part by his time at the University of Georgia, where he played a significant special teams role for the Bulldogs.â
Positives
- An ultra-competitive player with a good fire in the belly, including as a perimeter run blocker without the football
- Showcases good body control and ball tracking ability on back shoulder targets
- Prominent special teams profile should boost his outlook to make a 53-man roster
Outside X and core ST guy. Him and TeSlaa have some similar characteristics that will fill out the end of the WR depth, at worst.
Tom Kennedy of the future!
but much larger
But thx bud. I like how we added to WR and guard. Both positions are now loaded with depth and competition.
I like him as a player too. But getting that money doesnât guarantee anything.
Its basically just guaranteed Practice squad money. Thats it.
I hope he doesnt get picked off waivers and we can keep on the PS all season and maybe crack the 53 next year.
But there are already 5 locks on the roster at wr.
St, Jamo, Lief, Patrick and TeSlaa.
Not to mention Lovett.
I hope we can sneak all of our guys on the PS and keep em.
But unfortunately 19 players will be out (pending more injuries)
Once weâve seen enough of our UDFAâs just prior to the cutdowns we will see who they really like with the seasonal injury designations. âBut coach, I havenât even seen a doctor.â Coach, âIâm telling you son itâs your hamstring and itâs getting worse every second now sit down in that wheel chair.â
Canât teams stillâlock or protectâ a certain number of thier PS players from being pouched
Laki Tasi is an IPP player, which means if the Lions choose to sign him, he can count as a #91 against the 90 man roster and would be able to be stashed as a #17 PS player against the 16 limit for PS
I think he still has to clear waivers first before going to the PS. Which I think is BS.
If a team finds and signs an international player and works with him in camp, I donât think other teams should be able to poach him on his way to the PS.
There is no chance another team puts him on their roster
Youâre most likely correct.
Yea Iâm sure that happens. The player gets paid and can basically redshirt. Team wins and so does player
6â6 and 347 DT. I kind of feel like we have a guy with a similar build on the Lions? ![]()
Yeah, and both of them shouldâve been UDFAs
With his size and the IPP exemption⌠No brainer Nothing to lose.
all i read was pp size
Youâre not into those pp movies like @socko is are you? ![]()
So Brad does in fact like HWSâŚ
Absolutely. I think those shirts were to throw everyone off.
