Yeah I have no idea.

I do think there are a few spots that have paths to a roster spot but I mostly agree with you. I also think it’s important that we don’t let recency bias effect our perceptions of some of last year’s UDFA’s. For instance both Galvin and Joseph were perceived to be mid to late yday 3 talents by many last year.

Neither do I really. Long of 50 over his career.

I honestly think this all means Bates is really in the cards for us. I really don’t think we’d have left without one of the better kicker options if not. Maybe it’s why we didn’t up our offer to Mevis either.

I think so too. He’s familiar with the area. There is clearly an opportunity and there is a cult like figure potential that there isn’t elsewhere.

Williams is a clone of Randle-El. He is even further along because Randle-El didn’t start the conversion to WR until the post season all star games after playing QB his entire college career. It would not surprise me if our coach did not hand pick this guy.

The Safeties have a lower bar to clear than any of the others, IMO, maybe LB as a pure ST replacement for Pitt.

I hate our WR room right now. I like 'Lif, St Brown and Jamo, but the other 3 spots are filled with less-than-stellar options and the UDFA’s don’t scream “diamond in the rough”.

DPJ can play. Whether he’s a legit 3? Not sure. But he’s proven. He’s not some scrub. Mid season acquisitions at WR are tough.

That said give me Baby Chark.

St.
Jamo
Chark
DPJ
Kalif
Green/Williams

That seems solid.

That is a good point. Randle-El threw it more accurately but at AR I definitely see what you are saying.

Yes, a starting-caliber WR changes the outlook.

Chark, Gage, Gallup, Boyd……

and though very unlikely…. OBJ….

all still available.

Chark and MVS complete the room best stylistically IMO. Would MVS take so little money and a small roll. He’s got rings and money now so it could go either way.

Chark yes, MVS no

Would rather role with Antoine Green as the backup vertical guy.

Chark can beat out Trequan smith sure.

Saint….Leaf
Jamo… Green
DPJ…. CHARK

I’d take MVS in a heartbeat if it was for 1/2.5m. He’ll get more from somebody I’d imagine.

Flawed player for sure but he can do some things.

I like DPJ & Chark much better than MVS

Talk about big time drops in the worst of times…

MVS can go to Denver with Josh Reynolds

Sure. But 6’4” guys that are that fast are very rare. They have to be respected. I definitely prefer Chark for a myriad of reasons but MVS would fit well too IMO even if he has warts.

I like Antoine Green as Marvin’s understudy (for a few weeks at least lol).

I don’t know anything about him, but he sounds like an action hero

My little dream is this UDFA Center we got for nothing ends up a perfect back up and replacement for Ragnow when it comes time!!
