My college days. Really happy music. They never made it big on broadcast radio but pretty damn big on college radio. I love the tenor sax at the end of the first song and I also like the positive lyrics of the chorus section.

The bass player on this song is very strong.

Hans basically ripped off Gassenhauer by Carl Orff but nonetheless few tunes quite raise my spirits like this one.

Going to see these guys Sunday night

They are all Disney alums/current with the Voices of Liberty at the American Pavillion in EPCOT, so they do a lot of Disney stuff, but they do some sacred, showtunes, standards etc.

Not super hard arrangements, but they are talented and tight.

And they get cookin at 1:50 and then blow your doors off…and that top soprano…

My man just had a debilitating stroke. Probably my #1 artist of the 90’s.
God bless him. I am freaking sick of hearing about people in the music industry having strokes and heart attacks.

I’ll throw this out there, because some use softer music to get in the zone and feel better. I know it’s not the usual jam in this thing, but I myself sometimes feel better after some calm-ness.

Hey it’s spooky season so maybe a little Halloween related music from my teens is in order. Now instead of the original artist how about we substitute the most Mega talented Music School Swedish Trio that’s dedicated their lives to making ass kicking pop covers with the lead who sounds like Stevie Wonder except here where he sounds like Michael Jackson then Stevie Wonder and add them to a horn section and then just sneak in there all kinds of fun little Jazz chords and progressions all the while being pretty damn fun to listen to
