Saw Alterbridge in concert twice in downtown Detroit 15 to 20 years ago. I was a huge Creed fan back then…but Alterbridge was even better.
The State theatre was a blast back in those days.
Saw so many great concerts.

Broken Wings is the first song I learned to play from Alter Bridge. Although the tuning to drop Bb isn’t easy. I would have to say Blackbird is my favorite, Tremonti’s solo is incredible, and the meaning of the song is also.

If you haven’t seen it, check out the movie Atomic Blonde. So many awesome songs from the 80’s, including this one perfectly utilized within the highly stylized film. Also some of THE most realistic fight scenes ever. They actually get tired, and the arms are like lead pipes. Like what happens in a real scrap.
Back to the music - Check out some Joey and Rory. Heartbreaking story with Joey (the wife) passing of cervical cancer at only 40 years old. Their music was beautiful.

Creed has made a huge comeback. Selling out shows left and right.

I’m not a huge opera fan, but, Liz does a great job with this. It’s pop/opera. You either love it or hate it.
