There is no room for error out there, very narrow first cut on the fairways. If you roll off the greens you’re screwed trying to pitch out of that shit. Really not enjoyable to watch and isn’t a true test of the players skills IMO. Pin placements will be the story today as they have been from the start.

I have a 60-1 Hatton ticket so hoping he can get hot and win. Would enjoy seeing Adam Scott win as a fan. I have a pretty big bet on Marc Leishman top 20 also hoping he can hang on sitting t12 right now. No one really would’ve predicted this leaderboard.

Think I heard that Hovland is the only top 15 rated player in the top six on the leaderboard.
Yea, that has long been a complaint of the US Open and how hard the courses are for the players.
I always enjoy it as it takes the players out of their norm so to speak and they have to adjust. Seeing top rated players in the world battle through the course adversity is not a bad thing.
The Masters is the same course every year with different pin placements of course. PGA open can be tough and the British open is another fun one to watch.

I enjoy watching links golf and it isn’t like the Masters can’t be tough. When Zach Johnson won it he was over par. I like seeing the different courses but I just saw a guy walk off at 24 over.
