The reality is the Lions are rebuilding and don’t have a lot of talent especially on defense. I’m not sure why this is breaking news or click bait in some people’s mind.
Honestly, the defense being put in better positions by the staff may be worth a couple wins alone.

Agreed, I think we surprise a few teams, we have nothing to lose, everyone expects us and Goff to be dead last in the nfc north, winning 7 or 8 games is possible imho
In the event that happens (which it won’t) it’ll still sound better than dagger time. When they came out with that lame motto that was a red flag to me.
Lol I’m sorry I just really hated that and it’s vanilla dumbness was very representative of the team.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming it all on the players, the defensive coaching and play calling was pathetic. Some of those players will find future success when used properly.

I feel if Patricia can get 5 wins, these guys should be able to do better with coaching alone. I thinking anywhere from 6 - 9 wins . If Goff isn’t a huge drop off from Stafford and a WR steps up we could win more then most might think. The defense should be words better by philosophy alone.
The position that worry’s me the most is the safety position.

I agree with most of what you said, but have 0 faith in the no name oft injured failed to live up to their potential WR’s we have now. If we still had Golladay and Jones I would be hype though. Most of the guys we have now wouldn’t have made the roster last year.

No, I just think that with brand new everything, a first time HC, and the cupboard being as bare as Quinn left it, it’s gonna be a rocky road.
HOWWEVER…in think we’ll play with a lot of fire and have a lot to look forward to in 2022
