They’re a surprise for sure, I definitely had them in the basement of the division. They’ve beat 2 playoff teams. Their defense is better than I thought it’d be… They’re playing clean football (low TOs and penalties), running the ball and playing defense, that’s a winning formula
I tried to tell you guys the Vikes death had been premature in its prediction. It’s not like they were rebuilding, they were a really good team just 2 years ago.
Lions fans just got cocky after last year. Understandably. But I am not one of those fans.
They overachieved 2 years ago and got bounced in the WC round, they’ve been a .500 team by and large. We’ll see how long they can continue not turning the ball over. They kinda remind me of the 2021 Lions.
We started 1-6 that year. I still don’t see the how that comparison makes sense.
Why can’t people just admit they’re better than you thought? How hard is that?
They did overachieve 2 years ago… that doesn’t mean they weren’t good.
The season isn’t over, they could end 1-6… You’re failing to see the parallels… Both teams run the ball, limit penalties and turnovers and play good defense with emphasis on stopping the run (they’re ranked higher than the Lions). If you can do those things consistently, you’re going to win games… I want to see if they can continue protecting the ball.
