I just don’t see JJ ever being a top tier QB. They’ve got a great team except for QB. However, I think if they draft one it’s going to take them beyond their window to get him up to speed. I would try a resurrection project at QB (trade for Winston?) with another day 2 pick as an apprentice. Let him sit and learn for a year. I know that’s effectively what JJ did, but to be honest, I was never impressed with him at Michigan. Love that he won the national championship, but I don’t think he’s an NFL level quarterback.
Other than that, blow it up, get a bunch of magic beans, and start over.

I think they run it back and JJ gets better.
He seems like a Tebow QB. I honestly loved Tebow and I think he could have been a Lamar type guy if given more time. For some reason, every team hated him even when he won a bunch of games.
Anyways, I think JJ will be fine. Hasn’t anyone learned that it takes a couple years for QBs? The NFCN is a tough division and MIN had a 2nd place schedule.

They are Sam Darnold away from being a contender. If you put Darnold back on the Vikes and put Geno back in Seattle I think the Hawks are a non-factor and the Vikes are competing for a playoff spot

I vaguely remember someone saying that is a lot easier to get worse a quarterback than it is to get better. if Kwesi was in Detroit we’d be getting the full Hooker experience, and by that I am including at least one STD.

Lowkey, KOC should be getting ALOT more ire from Viking fans and the Media, he has been bad this year and he has done nothing to help what is essentially rookie QB’s ease into what is one of the more complicated schemes in the NFL.

Like, not even check downs or drag routes, or any lil gimmie throw, its all the anticipation throws that needs a QB to disect and read the defense and throw on schedule.

What was he supposed to do with that level of QB play. Now maybe that is on him. But maybe he was pounding the table for a vet and Kwesi didn’t answer the bell. We’ll never know.
But KOC has been too good to get too much flack for one bad year.

It’s understandable that they didn’t want to run it back with Darnold after he completely crapped the bed in the last 2 games of the season. He is not a great QB. They will probably sign someone like Zack Wilson in the offseason
