The Band, in my book, is one of the most over rated bands of all times. Their sound, not my cup of tea at all. I met Levon Helm once too.

First time I saw them was 1974. Steely Dan was the headliner but didn’t play because they said it looked like rain. Well ■■■■ them, the Eagles came back on and played everything they knew and no one was disappointed. Was sad to see Bernie Leadon leave, his steel guitar and banjo work was a great add.

Have you listened to And So I Watch You From Afar? Best live band I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen hundreds of bands live working/attending SX. Their first two or three albums are fantastic.
