Nice!
There’s a place called, “Wall to Wall Wines”, in Des Moines that has bi-weekly specials. My sister calls me before she goes,(she buys the communion wine for her church), to see if there’s anything I want. The more she buys the better the discounts so I do my part to help her, I’m that guy. She got on line later and saw normal retail and called me back and said, “Now I know why you wanted it!”. Already kicking myself for not buying more. DID get some Svedka 1.75’s under $9 including tax last go around, I got 6 of those. As a consumer I feel obligated to do my part to help this country in times of need.
“Smoke on the water” - Deep Purple
“When the smoke gets in your eyes” - The Platters
“Smokin in the boy’s room” - Brownsville Station
Smoke, Smoke, Smoke…
A nice toe-tapper to start my day!
Iggy is playing at the Mosswood Meltdown in Oakland today, some of my bay area friends are going.
Always worth it, though to be honest it’s been 20 years since I’ve seen him live.
Saw him on the Stooges reunion tour as well as solo.
Randy Bachman has had one hell of a career! The catalogue has got to be approaching “Beatles” level as far as “hits” go.
Late to the fire party

You did INK I went to Upheaval(and even helped for part of Saturday too) It was tons of fun and this is who i got to see
Day 1 had Gojira/Story of the Year/Landmvrks/Thousand Below/Normundy/Izzy Reign/ Poppy(her band) and it was a fun smokey time
Day 2 i was helping at the information booth for the first half of the day but got to hear exit 73/autumn kings/Silly Goose/Dying Wish and got to watch Jinjer/Bilmuri/Papa Roach and it was a really fun time Papa Roach had a good mix and did a little medley of Nu Metal Covers of bands like System of a Down/Korn/Limp Bizkit/Deftones/Linkin Park/etc
Izzy Reign - Bird of Prey (Official Music Video)
This is izzy reign her and the rest of her band put on a amazing set

Also been jamming this Brian definitley went shots fired on this one
It was definitely a hell of a time! Ended up getting 5 staples during the Papa Roach wall of death. I’m getting old and got blasted from the side
. Brian is definitely “bitter” and I love it and the song. Sounds like you had a blast at upheaval man. You didn’t miss much with Poppy, she’s good, but not much of an in the stage performer. At least not at this point. Bad Omens and Limp Bizkit were absolutely amazing per usual this weekend though limp didn’t play my daughter’s favorite song, Dad Vibes, that really started her full blown love of the band. She has a birthday nearly every year at ink so it’s always a great time
I have seen Poppy multiple times she puts on a good set
Funny thing with Brian is I have seen IPrevail multiple times since he has left(3 times) and even though it was solid it just was missing that spark
I feel the same! I really like their new album and they put on great set, but it is lacking. I really love Brian’s voice and energy

This band played at Upheaval and they did this cover and it was alot of fun
So these guys used to play where I bartended and were on Columbia records. I still see Dave, he owns a bar in Cedar Falls and his wife, the bass player, owns a vintage clothing shop next door. Good people, “The House of Large Sizes”, take a listen…
I’ve been jamming to fastball. Idk im hooked to the cd. Their hit song is about two old couple who loved life and their family just got up and left.
