Many seem underwhelmed if not slightly annoyed. Others seems to like the slow and steady approach.
After looking at all deals already done, there aren’t THAT MANY that I would have even wanted us to match. For example…. Oweh, Robertson, Chaisson, and Chenal? That’s $54NM aav, and the only guy I would want starting here is Oweh..
I think D Jones, N Wright, and a few others were really nice values, but not a ton of guys. Maybe Bryan Cook too…
I think I would be happy if we finished up with say….
I’m pretty sure this is all we’re going to get as far as big moves go. Mays 3 years fair deal. The running back that will not be named. Everything else will probably be later on or after the draft and it will probably be 1 year vet guys who can contribute for some depth. The Sutton, CDIII, Reader, Reed, etc stuff is done for this year. He will continue to build through the draft.
I’m having fun during this process. I’m not taking things too serious. For now, I trust in Brad. I support this philosphy. But its hard to watch other teams like the Rams go for it all. Even the 49’ers. Teams all over the league are really going full on.
There are a number of DE’s that will work for us. I would love Cam Jordan and another free agent that is younger with upside to get a contract with someone else.
I do believe TE will be a target for us.
That’s pretty much all I got. But I know whomever we get, will be cheap.
Adding him & McCreary would be a huge step to shoring up our secondary before the draft.
We’ve always seemed to find a good free agent safety the last 10 -15 years Harper was a solid get last year. Deshaun Elliott before him. Tavon Wilson. Jayron Kearse , Ihedigbo, and I’m sure many others I can’t think of right now
Not even including big names like CGJ and Glover Quin. Kennoy Kennedy
