I’m stopping here because I refuse to consider future contracts of guys we still have 3 plus years with- Gibbs, Hutch, Jamo, LaPorta, Branch… who knows anything that far out.
Keeping in mind it would be 2026 before most of these deals were really impactful financially-
I thought Sords was the developing guard so either is fine.
They have info behind the scenes on how much wear and tear Decker and rags can endure next season
I think I’d have oline and edge since they’ve kept Gilmore on active roster they must think he had a future in the nfl. With a year of training he could be as good as any first round rookie is going to be ( fingers crossed ) as a rookie.
Was you watching Sweat had a pretty good game. Good enough they whip the Lions. That signing and his presents made life hard Goff. And his play made a difference.
And what I said was there was plays he had time and still was still late and missed throws. And not just against the bears , if your one to think all Jared issues is the online I disagree.
Very few things on the defensive side destroy an offense like a top notch defensive tackle does. Constant pressure right up the middle will kill 95% of offensive game plans.
first Goff is playing plenty well enough or we wouldn’t have even gotten here, Goff is working on 4,000 yards and may get up to 30 TD’s for the season—but you want to throw him away and get Johnny QB here until you got to pay his ass to --then it’s “throw him away” and so it goes for the next 2/3 decades !?? good plan–hey go watch Goff in Sandman’s film man and you decide if Goff is the problem !!!
I mean christ we have people injured on the O-line, we question our OC our DC, a few of our Offensive players, a few of our Defensive players , the lack of pass protect , the player’s not caring enough , our timing , our game preparation.—and yet it’s Goff this—Goff that…sounds exactly like Stafford part II all over again and with our QB? it is always “the sky is falling.” guess what Johnny New QB is going to have to have FREAKING HELP FROM OUR O-LINE —and the other players on the damn team—then to !!
You’re not alone. Having the entire starting offensive line available does give me hope they’ll start looking like the team we saw the first 8 weeks. At least on the offensive side of the ball.
