Unfortunately its just my wife and my mom this year up north. Were doing filet mignon, 5 cheese macaroni and green beans.

So, what is your Up North for you? A cabin the woods? Cottage on a lake? Trailer? Campground? Condo in TC?
Just curious, the only time I go UP North is to deer hunt or steelhead fish. Not much a fudge eater tourist winery or camper type guy. I can camp in my back yard every night. It has woods and mosquitos just like Up North. I would love to move to a place on a good fishing lake Up North or a place surrounded by nice hunting land.

I had to work yesterday, today, and the next 4 days…
so I grilled/smoked 10 pounds of chicken legs, 8 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts, 8 koegel viennas, and a pack of turkey smoked sausages the other day… plus made a huge pot of creole creamy pasta.

Visiting for the first time since probably the Bicentennial, my childhood favorite coney/root beer/onion ring place. The one in GR closed like in 1977 or so but there are THREE up here in Northern IL!
