When I saw I could get tickets to the game for $400 bucks I started looking at plane tickets but ultimately decided to stay home and take my daughter to a local watch party.

Was also seeing whether I could swing a trip to Santa Clara, but for alot of reasons, didn’t do it. Pretty much always watched Lions games in front of my own TV with my better half. A bit of poor planning on my part made me watch the divisional round at a bar in the New Orleans airport. I liked it more than I thought I would, so I actually started searching for a watch party here in FL, found one 1.5 hours away. Who knew there were Lions watch parties in Florida?!?!

When I lived in Michigan, I would cook for ppl and watch with 1-5 ppl (the years I didn’t have season tix). Now that I live in Orlando, I actually watch with large groups of people from Michigan …more than if I lived in Michigan. LOL.

Ill be going to a sports bar here in Lincoln, Nebraska with a few lions fans. Also a bears fan (who says Detroit is his second favorite team), a colts fan who’s rooting loudly for the lions and a cowboys fan who is rooting hard for the lions. My bears fan (who took vacation for sunday) is my good luck charm. Weve watched last years game against the packers (week 17), this year’s chiefs game and last week’s game together. We’re 3-0 (and 0-4 when we watch the huskers play).
