Ditto, except I would also get the skill where magic attacks cause the target to be stunned. I would sneak thru every quest unnoticed, and dragons couldn’t even get a hit in because they were constantly stunned.
Pretty much only playing poe2, and wow classic these days.

I have a hard time recommending consoles over PCs for gaming, but I understand that it’s an easier entry point for most people. (Although, with the Steam Machine coming out - that would be an option. And probably a preferred one.)
Consoles are always weird because people are so dedicated to one or the other, but I just try to be practical about it. I’ve owned multiple XBox, Nintendo, and PS consoles, so I don’t have a real dog in the race. Unless your friend group is all on one console or there are some exclusives that you just can’t live without, it’s hard for me to recommend anything other than XBox for a few reasons:
- Potential of PC crossover in the future. Because XBox is a Microsoft products, most newer games are “Play Anywhere”, meaning you buy them once and can play install and play on both PC and XBox. No need to buy separate copies if you do eventually go PC.

XBox Game Pass: There is literally no better value in gaming. Pay a subscription fee (that you’ll already be paying for PS Plus) and get access to hundreds of games (and good, recent ones). Depending on your tier, even day one releases for popular new games. I don’t know, as a gamer, Game Pass has been the best value I’ve ever gotten out of a subscription for anything, ever. There are so many games I played first on game pass and then later bought just to support the developer. It’s awesome for trying new games and the library is huge. (And you really don’t need a console/pc to use it if you have Game Pass Ultimate, as you can just stream games right to your phone).
So, that’s where I’d throw my recommendation. Console prices just keep rising though, which makes them hard to recommend because they’re so inferior to PCs in almost every way. But PC gaming is pretty expensive to get into right now with the cost of RAM and GPUs.

For recent gaming, went on the Resident Evil Bender of playing through the RE’s again
9 was great, but recommend for first timing is 2 and 4 for both horror and action respectively.
and the new Resident Evil coming out soon (Veronica) looks very promising aswell
Capcom has been just cooking with the series since 7 came out

I can’t seem to complete 4 though. I didn’t beat the original or the remake despite trying multiple times. I got close in the remake but there was a chase scene that I stopped at that point and never went back. I did enjoy 2,7, and 8. I haven’t played the remake of 3 as I didn’t seem as interesting.
I am a big gaming nerd. My campaign just recently ended after 3 years because of a TPK. Had so many miniatures lined up I wont get to use. I was a big Flesh and Blood TCG player but this year I made the switch to Sorcery the Contested Realm. Waiting on our next DnD Campaign to start and get to be a player which has been forever.
I have only played one of the DnD board games called Tyrants of the Underdark. Which I highly recommend. It is a ton of fun though hard to find nowadays.

I play the latest Call of Duty just about every night before i go to bed, its kind of my way of relaxing.
Original 4 i did struggle with, but Remake 4 i finished multiple times
game is just fun.
Was a big Syphon Filter fan back in the day. The same producers made a game called Days Gone, very similar. One of my fav’s. Played it at least 3 times now.
Been playing Madden since it’s inception.

Well @Davicus just tried going back to BG3 after 6 months and holy crap I forgot pretty much the gameplay and parts of the story. A restart might be needed.
