He was signed in March 29th……

just after the NFL finished their investigation.

.

What are the odds …… of that playing a role in his return?

Just release him. The guy is a fool. Just another high pick wasted. Different regime, same skidmarked underwear.

Charles Rogers holds that title. Dude was nasty, his first few games his rookie year before his FIRST collarbone injury he was FIRE.

Might as well go get St. Browns brother.

Well, shit.

At least he’s following a Lions tradition!

For sure - there are lots of complexities of it.
Let’s say we know JaMoss is gonna miss the first 6 games…Would they have cut Cephus then?

Also → who are the front office members?

While I FIRMLY believe the guys should know the rules, I’m wondering if Dan hammered this home with them. The guys love Campbell & will do anything to please him. Not the feeling of ā€œwe have a culture of violating NFL policy in this information.ā€ Wonder how many of these guys are ignorant to the rule?

Which coaches were released?

Envision a rook sitting there with his coach who is betting…tougher scenario to expect the rook to know the rule when the coach doesn’t

Perhaps a trade would be more prudent?

Few people keep saying this; but why?

Question? Can he still practice if the offseason w team or is he to stay away from all team activities? That would be devastating if he can’t practice.

Only a matter of time until referees are doing the same.

Probably happening now. And the league will ignore it if at all possible.

Well, if Jamo didn’t know the rules then that points to a bigger issue, a Holmes/Campbell issue for not making all the players aware of the rules.

Of course we’ll never know but I’ll bet (no pun intended) that Jamo knew the rule and tried to get away with it which points to immaturity, lack of awareness etc.

This probably takes any player with questionable character off the board now so bye bye Carter. It’s possible that we lost Jamo and Carter in one fell swoop. Very SOLish

So i think Jamo can still particiapte in Training camp and offseason programs

but he cant play the first 6 games i believe…

This is correct, can play in preseason games as well.

Only thing I don’t know about is if he can practice during the 6 weeks of game suspension.

I believe after week 3 (of suspension) he gets to start practicing for week 7 return.
