Brace yourselves, fellas: Jermod McCoy could—and should—be in play at 17. Not my first option, but he’s definitely growing on me. I know the old BH loves injured players, blah blah blah, but in reality, this dude is a legit top-10 player in this draft. And as we know, Holmes values BPA regardless of position.

I know he missed the whole season with an ACL, but if you watch his 2024 tape, he is an elite talent with speed for days. He can play press man or zone—it doesn’t matter. He’s a future lockdown CB. I know it’s not the consensus DE or OT most want, but he’s a better player than any of them at those positions who will be available when we select. He’s also better than T.A. day one.

Basically, I’m just saying: don’t be surprised.

Definitely a bad game. Every CB has them. It doesn’t take away from his potential as an elite player

You will have to give me a couple seasons to decide if I like or not. I didn’t love the Terrion pick, and I can say with hindsight that I was (so far) correct.

I didn’t love the Campbell or LaPorta picks. I can say with hindsight, I was wrong.

Not the direction I’d go. I’d be pushing all in for a SB win, if possible.

I still say finish the oline and make it elite again. Protecting Goff is the key to anything we achieve.

Love the player… Have a hard time believing the FO and staff would sign off on a player who chose not to play when he could have.
