Yzerman's moves made absolutely no sense, and he got clowned by SJ

Great point, yeah those teams made the playoffs but they had zero depth to make any sort of a run. If we can stay the course, remain patient, and let our young guys develop I think 2-3 years from now we’ll see quality depth all over the place.

Looking strictly at “new” young guys we got Kasper, Edvinnson, Johansson, Soderblom up now, they should continue to improve.

For forwards we have so many guys that once developed can be legitimate contributors. We have Danielson (True Center), Lombardi (Center), Kisskanen, Buch (the Russian), Mazur, & MBN (power forward). Two goalie prospects that appear to be trending in a good direction. ASP who is a Makar lite type on the blue line.

Help is indeed on the way, it’s just going to take some time and patience

It’s funny to watch the elite teams in the division like Florida, Toronto, and Tampa all make very smart trades and then watch Yzerman try and build this “team”. Detroit has zero chance as long as Yzerman is GM. They are light years behind the 3 teams mentioned.

Brad Treliving came in and completely revamped the Leafs blue line adding a ton of size. He signed Anthony Stolarz for like 2.5 million a year and he is better than any goalie that Yzerman has signed or traded for. There should be zero excuses for Yzerman when you watch how the top GMs operate.

I make a gochujang/Heinz57 savory wing sauce that is amazeballs

I fully appreciate that the Wings were a long term project.

In fact… I totally embrace the slow build with youth.

This is why I have been frustrated to see the Wings give up a 4th round pick to pay a now 37yo defenseman (Petry) a $3.25 million cap hit….

and then gave up a 2nd round pick to give Walman away just avoid his $3.4 million cap hit…. less than a year later!!!

Now Walman nets the Sharks a 1st round pick…
in addition the 2nd rounder the Wings gave them….
:enraged_face::enraged_face::enraged_face:

On top of that… he also signed Holl to a 3-year deal for $3.4 million AAV a year before trading Walman.
.
This is just the defensemen….:thinking::grimacing:
.

That makes me question how much of a “plan” is in place.

Is it savory enough to save our hockey team?

Hey, what is that Gochujang sauce? Is that the spicy shrimp sauce stuff?

What’s the recipe?..the wife and I are always up to trying something new.

Per norm he gets it.

You do tend to get emotional and complain. Thats what fans do. We all do it. BUT there qre legit reasons why the wings are what they are…and the emotional “nah, f that, yzerman sucks” is shortsighted…

Complain or worry?

Its odd when people disagree with something its complaining.

Well, worrying about the wings is one thing…calling yzerman lousy at his job is another…

As he been good with FA. Finding a goaltender, finding a def? He hasn’t hit on any fa. Besides Kane has been pretty good. DeBrincat has been pretty good, and the only trade he won on

Im not even gonna get into this debate. I love Stevie Y way too much to bad mouth him.

I’ll just say that I expected the Wings to be much better than they are at this point, and leave it at that.

Like i said already. Players know illitch isnt his dad and sucks. You habe to spend the money u have on cap. It’s clear that FA are leary…AND illitch doesnt want to pay top dollar for the difference makers. So you fill out your roster with guys willing to come and who will take less…CATwas a hometown kid. He wanted to be here.

You can’t say a gm who built a stanley cup winning roster in tampa suddenly sucks at his job…if daddy illitch was still around he would have brought yzerman home sooner, he said before he died it was a mistake letting him go, ans he would have paid for the big guns…and we would be winning. We as a fan base aren’t used to prospects taking 2-3 years to mature. We are used to fedorov’s and the like hitting the ground running.

Its a Korean fermented paste made of soybeans, red chilis and rice.

Its got a slightly sweet, slightly smoky, and slightly spicy flavor.

Its really, really nice.

I make a ton of stuff with it. Best dish I’ve made with it is a lime/honey/gochujang/heavy cream sauce for pasta, or korean spicy pork.

It’s pretty versatile and never goes bad in the fridge.

Highly recommended.
