I know it’s not likely to happen but I have a couple crushes at RB:

Ray Davis RB Kentucky: would excel with our oline. Great hands. Got some juice at the 2nd level. If he’s there in Rd5 I’d be happy with the pick.

Jaylen Wright RB Tennessee: explosive. Does an excellent job of bursting through seems. Good feel in tight spaces. He tested at the combine extremely well. I feel he’s a day 2 pick. Somebody would be thrilled to get him in the back half of the 2nd round. Too rich for the Lions but I feel like he’s gonna be a baller.

Interesting, I was just thinking about how much I don’t like this DT class. Newton in the 1st or Fiske in the 2nd or I wait until day 3.

Part of that is probably because I like next year’s class so much.

In the mocks, Newton AND DeJean are sometimes both available. Tough choice there, but I like Newton if I had to choose. DT is a current and future need.

I like trading down from 73 so we have a lot of options WR, DT, NB, CB2, S I’m sure Brad has picked 2 at the end of round 3 already.

I would love to steal another Golladay (Lions Golladay not NYG Golladay) or St Brown lite at the end of round 3 this year

I wouldn’t hate it but for me, the WR talent DOES start to thin out a little around the late 4th/early 5th. There’s some later guys who are intriguing (Bub Means, Rosemy-Jacksaint, Coker, Flournoy, Gould, Palmer, etc…), but no more so than the typical punts in any draft.

Not so much the underware games as it was listen to guys here and reading up more. I still am ok with him he has the production over the years and the motor. But alot of guys I like more

Fair enough. It’s not an upside pick. I get that. And that makes it tough to digest too high. But I just struggle thinking he busts. Just too hot of a motor with too much power to no be solid. Could be wrong.
