Aiden Hutchinson

Lol. So that makes even better…wow.

What that he’s not good enough to be a 3 down player? Up to this point

I forgot you know it all. Have a great night

Know it all? Did i not say you can make an argument for either? If you can’t see an argument either way, id say your the know it all,

What im saying hes been impressive for being guy who was cut and has been better then anyone else thought he would be. Hutchinson was a 2nd pick overall so yeah Hutchinson should be doing what hes doing

Sauce is 7th in completion percentage. So the argument he’s the best in the game is a bit of a stretch. I’m not even sure he’s the best rookie CB.

Tariq Woolen leads the NFL in INT’s and is having an arguably equally good season at CB too.

He should be in the consideration as well.

I personally think it’s a 3 man race and you can make a strong argument for all 3.

Suace likely wins it because he’s in the NY market.

I agree, very impressive. What i was saying is he shouldn’t be ahead of Hutch for DROY

This is - truthfully - also why I made the bet.

No one said that. I was saying people should be talking about Houston being in the convo more

I aee, he’s been impressive for sure

I dont think hes ahead of Hutchinson at all. But kid is doing way more then anyone thought. 8 sacks in 6 games is unreal.

I agree, he’s exactly why i would rather go another direction than Anderson. Though I think that worry is off the table now

I’m not reaching at all. You are delusional if you don’t think the defensive rankings will not or should not impact this process.

I want DB, DB. Db, lb now. Unless carter falls

Id think that doing what he’s doing with the 32 ranked D, with little help until the past several weeks and being part of a team that could be the 1st since the 70 Bengals to start 1-6 and still make the playoffs, along with being the only DE to have whatever he ends with in sacks, 3 ints and 2 FR, would over ride a slanted stat. I think even the average fan is aware also of the improvement the D has made over the 7-2stretch as it’s been talked about on every network. Especially when everyone was saying the Lions are a team no one wants to face in the 1st rd

LOL, I want Carter in the worst way. If not the next best DT, better yet BPA, hoping it’s a DT

Im definitely for a CB, also a vet CB and S. I want a RB in the 1st or 2nd and a OG. I would love Oluwatimi in the 2nd, starting ROG and a good back up OC, S in the 3rd.

So let’s see, DT, CB/RB, CB/RB, OG in first 2 rds, S in the 3rd. In my perfect world

As you’ve argued CB is hard to come out of the gates and shine. Prefer to have one who can hopefully do just that, but if not have a proven vet, to start or for depth
.
However, I think Holmes will go pretty much BPA throughout. Which IMO is a pretty good way to do it. Likelihood of busts go down, and you always can use the depth

Thinking about it further, I wouldn’t be surprised if Holmes doesn’t pick a weakness and try and hit it hard. It’s exactly what he did on the Dline. So if he doubled up at CB i wouldn’t be surprised either

Vegas would disagree.

Also, the main reason teams fear the lions is bc of the top 5 ranked offense and because we play hard and are tough.

You left off the improved D. We lost high scoring games as well. Vegas is also wrong a lot. If that’s your point, sure side with Vegas.

Again i think it’s a 3 horse race, all 3 have a legit shot

No, I did not. I did not forget about the D. It’s still a defense that though improved gave up 400 yards rushing last week and 100 yards in 1 quarter to a qb. They have been horrific all year on 3rd down. Aiden is deserving of the DROY. He has earned the right to be considered. He has impacted the games in every way you said. He makes everyone’s job easier. It’s going to Sauce.

They also gave up 10 pts, they until last week had held what 5 teams straight to under 100 yds rushing.

Yes it could very well go to Sauce…or Woolen and his 6 ints. OR Hutch. Those 3 all have a legit shot
