Hutchinson and Hendrickson…

Exactly @socko ![]()
Uhhhh…whut?
I think it’s a joke. If you do a reverse search on that image, you’ll get all kinds of sports stars spotted at all kinds of airports.
Zoomed in on my camera and @Weaselpuppy was taking the picture…

Hutchrickson?
Henchinson?
Turns out MG requested a meeting with the Browns owner. He was promptly told to ■■■■ off and go see the GM. Sounds like it might get ugly in Browns-town.
Making this much more interesting and intriguing all of a sudden.
Haslem is so ■■■■■■■ dumb he had to finally make a rule to keep him from ■■■■■■■ himself over like with Watson.
Nigerian Prince scam probably worked 3 times on that crooked nepo baby scumbag
So, have Dan and Sheila take him to lunch and Lions should be good? Sounds like a plan to me.
I think trey is less realistic than Garrett. The only reason Garret works is his contract. He has 2 years left. TREY wants to get PAID and that would hit us hard next season when we have no money. Garrett wants to win over getting paid. We could make Garrett work and resign kerby with only a goff restructure. Still tough but is somewhat possible. Trey is all about the Benjamin’s so i am out on him.
Yeah, so did Maxx Crosby ![]()

Lions could easily restructure any amount of over $125,000,000 in base salary from only 4 players and move that money into future years.

Lions aren’t in bad cap shape.
ZERO dead money for 2026 at the moment.

Hendrickson, Hutch, and Kerby could be paid… and it is possible to keep the cap hits lower if needed.
See AJ Brown’s $32 million AAV extension.
It can be done. Eagles have significantly more big contracts on their books… and still have at least 2 to 3 years before things get tricky.

What does, “well over $30m mean?” 2/64 with some garbage window dressing to get it near fake 3/100. That plus pick 60?
Yolo that shit up. Credit cards have their time and place.
Of coarse we could restructure everyone but that steals from the future costing us resigning future players. The 2022 class is one thing… but the 2023 class is going to be hard to keep around.
Trey’s agent will be seeking a Maxx Crosby deal.
Why shouldn’t he?
Trey has been much better than Maxx over the last 5 years.
Trey is older but he is healthy and consistently available.
Maxx is coming off a season ending injury that required surgery.
Maxx is Trey’s comp and he has a good case for the same contract.
Holmes is already in negotiations with Hutch to pay him +$35M, he has already indicated he doesn’t think having 2 on the same D-line is possible.
Quick check, how many NFL teams have two premier edge rushers each making over $20m+?
Hint: It’s zero.
This fantasy of the Lions having two $35m+ edge rushers is exactly that - fantasy.
The only thing that would make it at all a possibility is Trey’s age and the potential duration of the contract. If you’re talking about being over budget at Edge 2 for one year (Hutch’s new deal should have a low number in the first year) I think you could spread out that money and make it work.
My only issue with this is it sets the bar for the Hutch extension. Or we extend Hutch first and then have him mad when we offer more to Hendrickson.
It would be nice if Brad figures a compromise. Our second would be glorious.
