I assumed you were upset he wasn’t going to be your offensive coordinator.
I’d be somewhat surprised if Chip Kelly doesn’t just come back to Ohio State next season.
A bit, but his four top ten wins were against 3 BigXII teams and Iowa. Two of the four went on to finish 20th and 26th respectively. I don’t think there is much in his resume that suggests he’s ready to unseat the big boys.
But I don’t agree that it’s a nice save in that they got a good coach that can keep the floor high. I just don’t see a ceiling raiser here.
Campbell has been a candidate for so many cycles that you would have to imagine that ISU had long ago figured out the succession plan.
It doesn’t happen that fast if you aren’t prepared.
Didn’t see this coming
What’s Brayden up to now?
I don’t believe he’s ever coached again.
Someone should hire the Indiana DC and someone else should hire the Indiana OC.
To add on, some one should hire whoever is evaluating film of recruits/transfers for IU
Whoever that person is, clearly watches film and they don’t miss
This would be something.
Boy, that seems like it would be an absolute last resort.
I would think that both for his career and ego, almost any other job would be preferable.
Yep. Sucks for Nebraska as Pry was high on their wish list. They missed on Kehres and Rossi already as well.

Intriguing. Only one year at DC for SDSU and quite the turnaround. Had a great CB but not sure what else personnel wise and obviously fared quite well against that level of competition.
I can’t root against people. This is a pretty cool moment for Campbell and his family. Wish him the best except once a year.
He’s a quality human.
Unfortunately when it comes to power school HC gigs it’s hard to find quality humans.
I’m glad one got the Penn State job.
I thought the gate was a prison gate for a second which I found fitting.

This guy is becoming my favorite CFB coach. So refreshing.
This is why I don’t like people arguing that teams can’t play themselves in on the football field and are instead left in the hands of a committee to determine their future.
Literally every single team in the country controls its destiny at the start of the season. Win the games on your schedule and you’ll be surprised to see how well the committee treats you.
Unless you’re Alabama, then you can lose 3 games and the committee will still treat you well.
Any time you’re “selected”, there is more going into the decision than just wins and losses. There shouldn’t be a playoff committee.
