I like Thornton to but he’s not nearly as smooth to me and his frame just looks more frail even though he’s a bigger guy and his processing into his routes and into using his body look like a work in progress. He definitely could be a day three home run though.
I think he’s MVS without but with much better hands.
You covered his major flaws. He’s not physical at all, is a bit linear and like most tall guys it’s more so build up speed. But if we can get a fairly sure handed 6’4" WR that runs a 4.32 on day 3 then I think that’s worth it.
I think Homes is going to get a guy at the bottom of a certain tier of receivers and get value out of the pick regardless of where he picks one but I would be completely shocked if he doesn’t draft at least one.
