Lamar Jackson would 100% like to be a Lion. He had them on his short list of teams he wanted to go to earlier in the year. But yeah, I agree with you. No way I’m making that move. You’d be mortgaging everything for a guy who is at most, maybe a ladder rung higher than Goff. At this point, I’m fine with just holding on to Goff. But it is nice to see outside guys with pedigree looking at the Lions as a destination.

Speaking of Lamar, didn’t he mess up his knee yesterday!? That can’t be good for a running QB.

I get not liking running QBs, but there is more than the Bears losing than having a running QB. The rest of that team is hot garbage.

I forgot how good that team was.
I actually like QBs that can run, I mean if I was ordering one like a car, I would check all of the boxes. Heated seats, Nav system, some of those stability systems that prevent me from spinning the tires I could do without.

The defense especially is horrible, they traded away all their good defensive players for magic beans. Last year they had Mack, Roquan Smith, and Robert Quinn - all gone!
Can’t wait to drop 40 on them in a few weeks,
And the chargers have underwhelmed with a pretty d*** good roster

Lions do not win from behind and that’s due to QB play. Top QBs bring their QBs back from deficits. Goff is not capable of doing that often enough.
Goff is better than Tua and Prescott in my opinion. Dak is more media darling then a QB who can win or carry a team. The Cowboys have been stupid talanted during his tenure and have nothing to show for it. Tua is throwing to open recievers all day this year.

Are all better than Goff. Young up and coming QBs in league such as Tyler Huntley are better than Goff also once given the chance. Goff was treated like a throw in for Stafford because that’s exactly what he is. He is a low IQ QB, who lacks athleticism and can only succeed if everything around him is perfect. He is a great teammate though.
