Jamo update

The old saw about going to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

He won’t be.

I’ll believe the attorney’s that are probably basing their opinions on cases that have been heard in front of a judge.

Either way, glad the police offers didn’t issue a citation/warrant as based on the cooperation of the brothers, their honesty with the whole situation and the fact that probably by the letter of the law, they are in violation, but it’s kind of nit-picky.

Just wish that Jamo didn’t have a 2cent brain to go along with his talent.

I disagree, if we have a board that can’t even figure out if you can put a gun under your car seat while traveling with a CPL holder, HTF is Jamo supposed to?
Seems a bit unfair to hold this over his head.
If Jamo’s pharmacy ran out of Adderall and he got the temporary replacement, should he really be expected to inform the NFL?
I’m not making excuses for the guy, but to say Sheila will not sign off. If Brad and Dan say sign off, she will sign off.

Williams’ brother was not carrying it for him.

I agree that this will probably amount to nothing, but at the end of the day he committed a felony (probably) and is another in a string of bad decisions.

Where does this Adderall story come from?

The tests aren’t that granular, they would not distinguish between amphetamines.

He tested positive for a stimulant or masking agent (probably) that violated the league substance policy

It wasn’t weed

NFL handles that differently

*decriminalized. DEA is in process of reclassifying cannabis from schedule 1 to schedule 3. still illegal to possess and use recreationally. calling it legal is a slippery slope

It’s just a hypothetical analogy, I thought a masking substance was 4 day suspension.

Okay thanks

Not the first time I’d seen it.

Get a ■■■■■■■ CPL license. If you are going to frequent places where you may need a gun and you’re carrying it with you, get a CPL, problem averted. It’s not rocket science.

or just avoid this. where does anyone “need” a gun?

Why question why or when to carry a gun? It’s our constitutional rights.
Not questioning you @HiFidelity, just asking in general. When someone spouts off about the incompetence of a politician is it a big deal? Guns are everybit our rights as free speech.

Wherever you decide to go on your daily chores. You don’t decide where you will need a gun. Someone else will make that decision for you. Either you will be able to defend yourself or you won’t. Don’t depend on someone else to do it for you. NO ONE is required to take care of you. That’s your job.

because when you go to starbucks you need to carry an ar-15 over each shoulder to show everyone how totally for sure masculine you are. Plus the sock down the front of your pants. No…TWO socks that’s it!!

I’ll retract what I wrote because this is about to veer into thread locking territory

I recommend everyone else let it drop too

Dumb post of the thread if not the entire site.

It’s time.

I think you need guns to defend yourself in this country. I believe in the 2nd amendment. if you have to walk around like arnold carring an over and under gun you’re a little bit insecure.

Unless i missed it… and please message me if that works better genuinely trying to understand but…

I still havent gotten any answer to my question on the interpretation of the law that people are saying indicates “in order to transport a licensed firearm for another individual the owner of said gun must have a cpl, meaning his brothers cpl doesnt cover it”

This to me is odd unless we are saying the cpl is tied to the gun and not the individual. I am really just looking to understand the interpretation not trying to be difficult.

To me if that were true does Jamo’s presence in the car have an impact or would his gun being in the car have been enough to create a violation despite his brother having his cpl? Doesnt that interpretation mean that would be the case?

Again willing to accept i just dont understand the nuances of michigan law. I am a tech project manager by trade not a lawyer so that is entirely possible just trying to follow the logical impact of that sort of legal requirement.
