I love that series! It was so refreshing to see them go in a different direction with the characters.

With the Boys, I was a huge fan of the comic (pretty much anything Garth Ennis writes), and I thought the TV show played up the violence while ramping down the bawdiness. Not that I have any problem with violence but what set the boys comic apart was just how over-the-top raunchy it was. Thereâs a particular panel that shocked me so much when I read it, I had to immediately show it to all my friends. But itâs as NSFW as you can get. I stopped watching after the 1sr season so maybe itâs different now.

Iâm a âbinge watcherâ for most shows and wonât even start a new show until itâs had at least 3 seasons". I hate having to wait for a showâs next episode or next season.
I donât think my mind will ever be the same after reading Crossed. It legit got to me. No fiction ever gets to me. lol
This is how alot of people take in shows now. I love it when Netflix drops the entire series at once instead of slow playing it. I didnt watch Game of Thrones, but i remember when it ended there were people saying it will go down as the last great âwater coolerâ show where everybody is watching an episode at the same time and can talk about it the next day with others. Now people watch it at different times and daysâŚor some like you and me binge watch shows.
Another cool thing that has happened is that new series are taking advantage of the fact that they know we are binge watching. So they are able to put in small details that carry over to a future episode that will get caughtâŚwhereas it would have been missed years ago when episodes were spread apart.

I could be entirely wrong but this could simply be a contractual / legal issue of some sort. Pick whatever scenario you want. Maybe Ford (the company) doesnât want to be associated with the show. Maybe HBO canât do unpaid advertising. Maybe the NFL had something to do with it. Heck maybe itâs an issue with Firestone etc. Random off the wall scenarios like that. As I said, pick what you want and I could be 100,000% wrong. Just trying to think of a reason due to the timing.
