Nope! I’m done trying to guess.
Brad and Dan got this. I’m good with that.
Same.
I think this offense is really close. I think a solid running back (Hall or Walker) to share carries with Swift would not be a bad move. didn’t like it at 34, too soon and didn’t think they would be there at 66 so we are in a good spot now.
Get the TE, Ruckert, from Ohio State with our comp pick and just hope our defense can get a stop or two. Agree we need LB badly (don’t like Dean his DLine kept him VERY clean, he won’t be that lucky at the next level). I like Pitre better if I had to pick one.
Yeah he’s the guy I really want, you get him with what we have already and it’s already a successful draft.
I’m not sure how livid this place would be, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the lions took McBride at 46. Would fill the inline TE2 role and insurance if Hock gets hurt. I personally wouldn’t be in love with it, but I would get it and he has the personality traits that the staff likes.
Yep.
I’m out, too.
Christian Harris might be a good pic at 46
Willis is gone but i hope pitre is there… hes a beast
Brisker would be a good pick
I like brisker but Pitre has serious flexibility position options. Hes a beast.
I’d make a case for strong safety or X WR. LB only if the value is there. Dean played really well, but apparently there are some injury concerns/injury frequency concerns with repeated soft tissue injuries that have teams hesitant. Along with his size making him a bit of a fit issue for some teams.
We signed a safety, but having a guy who can fill run lanes, hold up in split zone, and be able to clean up the edges would be big for this team.
They could pick all lb the rest of the draft and I wouldn’t be upset lol
I think I would be OK with Thornton at 97… depending on what else is available of course…
I definitely could see them taking a QB here. I’d be much more okay with it, rather than taking one in round one. QB is the position to watch leading up to our pick IMO. And safety.
My case for taking Willis → I want our team to win SBs
Jack Fox does need a sidekick lol
Travis jones or Boya Mafe. They need another DT and if Mafe is there it would be hard to pass on him and the immediate impact he would have on this defense W hutch.
I’m a big Pitre fan, legit playmaker that would pair nicely with Walker.
With that said, I have a feeling that Holmes will go with an unexpected guy that none of us have on our board or I could see a trade down to recoup a 3rd or 4th to fill the gap between the 3rd and 5th round. Could be realistic with some highly touted QBs still on the board.
The one pick I would be unhappy with, that the Lions have been linked to, is Sam Howell. Just no, please no. I’d take Willis, Corral or Ridder over him, Strong as well who I feel isn’t being talked about enough. I think they should punt QB to next year altogether but Howell would be last on my list of this group.
I’d take Pitre.
On NFL Network, they just gave the comparison for Breece Hall to Johnathon Taylor, except Hall he can catch better out of the backfield. If they can put a guarantee on that or our money back, I’d pull that trigger in a quick minute.
List of mobile QB’s to win a Super Bowl.
