That game cost them the ability to control their own playoff destiny. They ended up in a 4 way tie in the NFC. Half of those teams didn’t make the playoffs based on various tie breaker scenarios. That loss also created a path for the Vikings and Bears to make the playoffs and the Packers to be outsiders.
I said that about Trey Lance before he ever got drafted, they would have been national champions w/o him.

Ok. But they were in a great position to beat SF. Two time outs if I recall correctly. I haven’t went back and watched it recently but I remember in real time literally muttering. “You just can not make that throw!”
Yeah I certainly have that same concern….but I’d still take Goff at this point. Goff is very underrated and he honestly doesn’t get the respect for how he doesn’t get fazed by his detractors and he still just goes out and ball. There have only been a handful that gives Goff his respect that he has earned and guess what….Stephen A. Smith (of all people) was one of them!

Loved played well for like 6 games at the end of the season and we expect that to be the norm??? I dont think so. Hes ok. But Goff is statistically better in almost every measurable category.
And talk about not making the deep throws (goff is top 10 btw) Love RARELY makes big plays.

He was more consistent than that. After his first two games he struggled statistically but kind of picked it back up the last 8 games. I mean 4159 yds and 32 TDs against 11 INTs is a norm I’m sure most teams would take….let alone the Packers
Mina Kimes has been pretty consistent in her dislike of Goff. I wouldn’t be surprised is she posted on this site like some sort of Ninja.

Love had a solid year. 96 QB rating
By Goff’s 3rd season he had been to the SB. Goff had a pair of 100+ QB ratings in LA and his last 2 seasons have been rated above Love’s rating.
Love “may” do it one day. Goff “has” done it.

Everyone here knows I’m not the biggest Goff supporter, but Love is not better, and this Jordan Love stuff is stupid. He was only a good QB half of last season. They go from “he’s a bust” to “he’s the best” overnight. Truthfully speaking, Love might turn out better, but as of right now he’s not, and I don’t think he will be. He’s the biggest hype player to me right now.

He had one against the Chiefs that looked like a punt being caught. Came down somehow between 4 defenders. I definitely think love is good but I do not think he is as good as they are making him out to be….yet. Also, this isn’t a rookie QB going into his second year. This is a guy who sat behind a HOF QB for 3 years and then got to start. I just don’t expect to see as big of a jump as we do from a rookie.
