Kind of a middling return. Though he has been terrible this year. If they can get a return to form they probably fleeced the Mets. If not than Peralta is somewhat worthless.

Which is going to infuriate Met fans. I work with a few of them and last fall man you should have seen our TV compound. You think we are b ad on this board…what I saw in real life form was worse then our gamey threads in here. One thing I heard that kinda stuck with me when the Mets lost out of the WC to the Reds was : “This was The Met Thing to do”…

The Mets have very bad management in the front office and thus can’t get a good manager. They try to throw money at everything but throws the money in the wrong places often times. I actually like the Mets because I kind of got infatuated with their '86 team. Used to love Strawberry and Dykstra. I have told my Met buddies that they need to get Theo Epstein
It’s interesting how bad the Hedge Fund geniuses have flubbed things up as sports owners. The private equity guys seem to be less involved in the minutia and hence fare better.

I’m not sure Garcia will fare as well in New York as he did Washington. I don’t see him as the kind of guy who shines under pressure and big city lights from a baseball Town sort of thing. Been tracking him for a long time and it took him a couple few years to get up to speed, to be honest I’m a little surprised the amount of power he’s shown
