NBA Offseason 2026

Luka and LeBron also both missed significant time last year, likely inflating those numbers…for what it’s worth.

So after I did my typical thing where I crash the ■■■■ out and then wake up the next morning with an open and relatively level headed mind, I’m realizing that Okorie is Labaron Philon if he was an inch shorter, had a longer wingspan, better burst, and turned the ball over way less.

I still have serious questions about where he fits into the rotation especially next May, but I like the player a lot more than I did last night.

We now have Jenkins/Sasser/Okorie with only potentially 2 spots available for it

One of them is getting moved. I expect it to be Sasser.

Same Sasser/Stewart/Lavert for a improved 2 or 4 would be the most beneficial

Could also move Holland/Robinson too if needed

He’s pretty much Tyler Herro with a bit more playmaking ability. Either would be risky adds that are or will be overpaid.

It’s pretty clear that Langdon wants a 20 ppg scorer to team with Cade which I get but you have to play the other end of the floor as well and none of these can defend. Powell might be the best defender ( and still average at best) but he’s also a lot older and doesn’t have any playmaking ability.

Murphy is probably the best option. He has the length to defend better than the others even though he also isn’t a great defender and his contract is way better but I don’t see Langdon paying the necessary price to land him so it’s look more and more likely that Powell or Herro will be the add. I’d take Powell because he won’t cost assets.

The next couple of draft classes aren’t going to be as good as these last two were.

If I was Trajan, I’d care less about moving those picks than I would have moving the pick last night, if that makes sense.

It’s like trading a 2022 or 2026 1st rounder in the NFL instead of a 2027 1st rounder.

I semi-expect Holland to be moved one way or another. We’ve made it pretty clear than he and Stew are available in a potential trade.

“The Pistons are looking for a scoring guard to put alongside Cade Cunningham.”

If it wasn’t clear before, it is now.

So what a stretch 4 as well. Harris coming back

Stew/Sass/Caris/Holland for MPJ?

They just got Randle and were interested in Stew

I would rather have a stud at SG next to Cade to handle the ball and score than a stretch 4 who plays off the ball most of the time.

I do think both can somehow be acquired.

If we were to trade into this second round tonight, getting someone that could theoretically be a strech four would be cool.

Veesaar is right there as a bigman who can shoot 3s off the bench

One of my favorites. Dude stuck around.
