If the mets are serious. This allows them to keep their #1 pitching prospect to pair with skubal but in return lose their 2 top position prospects a solid pitching prospect and then more pitching prospect depth(watson/ross/thornton)
This might be pending on skubal signing with them
Detroit gets #21/#30 overall prospects in mlb which would pair well with #2/#8/#33/#37
They get a young pitcher in sproat who has pitched in the majors
Ross/Thornton are eta next year and Watson in 27 for eta on call ups
Young future team with dingler/tork/mcgonigle/rainer/jett/greene/benge/clark/briceno/liranzo for batters and jobe/melton/sproat/watson/ross/thornton/olson among others for pitchers

That doesn’t explain what I am asking. In the first place its says REPORT. The next thing is it says that the Mets are putting together an opening offer of a list of players. Key word being OPENING. Now if this report is true and that is an OPENING OFFER then I am sure it is open for negotiation, in which if the Tigers don’t like the players on the list then they can talk about it right? I don’t see the trolling in this…
