I think Marner might be more likely to help the Wings make the playoffsā€¦..

but also think Bennett might be more likely to help them win playoff series if they get there.

And the wings and tigers have YET to sign a big contract. Aside from the 3 OBVIOUS extensions for Larkin, Raymond and Sieder

The only other big contract is Baez. Every other contract is BELOW average barely above minimum.

Yes Copp compher etc are ā€œbigā€ only because the players are bad.

But a $25m total contract in the NHL is NOTHING.

Between the Tigers and Wings they have a total of only 5 contracts over $30m Total!

Cool wings drafted a 18year old from canada.

Hes tough and gritty. But he wont be on the wings till 2028-2029 at the earliest and 2029 as a true contributor.
