Who you got at WR1???
Most draft ranking sites I’ve seen has q Johnston the #1 wr
Not sure what you mean by Kiper but all I do is read the room
Mocks seem to like JSN a lot more than NFL teams do. There is a good chance a needy team will like him well enough to take him in the 11-15 spot.
I don’t disagee with your comments with St. Brown, Williams, and the WR group being a decent group. My concerns have always been Jamo hasn’t produced anything yet and to count on him to be a number 1 or 2 receiver is putting a lot of trust in him having not played or proven it. One injury to either one and we’re in trouble IMO. Now he’s out 6 games as if injured.
Time will tell, Holmes will make it happen somehow.
How would we know this before next Thursday???
Did NFL teams start releasing their draft boards to the public this year???
Jamo needed this. Hopefully he’s motivated and learns from this.
@ TE I like 6’7 Dalton Kincade, plus he’s over 200 pounds, 35 career TD’s 15.0 YPC-career, @TE glorified WR.
I agree with this completely. To me the problem with the Jamo suspension isn’t losing Jamo so much as it is thinning out the room. If ARSB or Jones or Reynolds gets banged up the first few weeks it might be a rough go and our expectations are high.
But we also don’t have the whole story yet. We will know a great deal more in 8 days. If the team leaves the draft with a couple players like Cedric Tillman and Jayden Reed in the 2nd and 5th our narrative changes a great deal.
Hopefully it’s the kick in the pants he needs to get his career going. If he comes back and struggles it may get very ugly for him very quickly. He needs to come out of the gate strong to get the positive vibes out there.
I mean…. we could post a dozen different “gurus”…
which could have JSN, Johnston, Addison, and even Flowers ranked at WR #1…. but that doesn’t mean any is correct.
3 of them have issues that make me not want them in the 1st round.
I could be wrong…. but that is how I see them.
True it will only matter how Holmes has them ranked. Note Holmes is big on production jsn didn’t produce last season because he was hurt most of the year. His situation reminds me of Mike Williams from usc
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the more i read and see, I think Dalton could really make this offense a constant highlight real. He’s like a huge WR with speed. Just so hard to say draft another TE in the first round as a Lion’s fan.
I mean Wilson went 10th. Olave went 11th. It’s not that different.
Again, by paying attention to how teams act rather than what mockers project. We know who is moving up and down. The lack of conversation surrounding JSN is important. If he was as much of a lock to be a star as few posters here feel then he would be a top ten guy. He would be in the conversation to be projected top five.
Instead, Vegas nearly has him off the board to go top ten, and him as the best player at a high visibility position that would attract more public action. My guess he isn’t even on the board to go top ten with any team.
I am certain the Lions don’t have him graded very highly.
At least a few insiders are claiming that teams have him downgraded because he was unable to overcome a mild hamstring.
I just don’t see a team drafting jsn high and he hasn’t played in a year…I just don’t see it…call me crazy
so…. NFL teams tip their hands before the draft…
and you really know who is moving up and down…. a week before the draft???
dang…. I’d like to see your mock draft for the 1st round so I can make some bets of my own…,
Again Holmes and the Detroit lions have their own rankings of players. What Nagy is saying is irrelevant imo
so…. NFL teams tip their hands before the draft…
and you really know who is moving up and down…. a week before the draft???
Yes, and so do you. We have a very good idea who is graded where; who is moving up and down.
At this point you are being obtuse.
Why not plant your flag and tell everyone where JSN will be drafted. I already did and I feel I am being reasonable about it. He isn’t a better prospect than last year’s guys and we know where they went. quod erat demonstrandum
