You vill eet ze bugs, und you vill pay dearly for it!
Donāt get me started on the mass meat mfg industry. Really disgusting stuff going on there. The allowed tolerances for disease, fecal contamination and worse would be enough for most people to never touch a hamburger again. Ignorance is truly bliss when it comes to North American meat consumption. Chicken is even worse than beef, but both are pretty toxic. I encourage everyone to know where the meat you are consuming actually comes from.
If itās not now, it will be.
Iām reminded of a story about the government and sand in the sahara.
Step forvard
āIf you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years thereād be a shortage of sandā
ALDIās had Butterball on sale for .99 a pound. I make the majority of it into Turkey Stuffing sandwiches.
man can you believe the price of meat like soon we wonāt have any to eat-and you canāt say ā I donāt give a f_ck soon we wonāt be able to afford a raggedy-ass lunch truck. man is this shit for real -had to take a personal loan out for a box of cereal. itās to embarassing to mention but Iām so poor I couldnāt pay attention , I donāt know what to do but start my own farm and live off that when iām too old and chewed up to even do.
Theres always ramen.

At my local meat place. They had Filet mignon for 7.99. Yes I picked up a few.
Thatās incredible. I canāt find whole tenderloins for less than $20 per pound.
Speak for yourself bro, NEVER happening here. Pro meat for life
But you should definitely share articles if it can help demand and prices go down
I was excited. Got half a pound ground beef for 3 bucks as well.

Thatāsā¦beef? I guess you can eat crickets.
Looks like gonna be another rough year, drought wise.
Iāve read they quit making man made snow in that area because there wasnāt enough water.
Was it beef ramen?
wow. I just bought 2.25 lbs of ground beef and it was like $18. That is so nuts and I feel angry because there doesnāt seem to be a great reason for it that like Iām really buying other than greed.
It is a supply and demand bump.
I think we will see some regression back to some netter prices in 12-18 months. It is a grow cycle.
THe reality is that the price of calves are on record highs at the moment. Obviously due to many factors.
I need to get some research done and understand if this is due to supply side or demand side.
In other words, are more people trying to raise their own cows (need at least 2 at once) so there is a demand for young cows, is the issue some decrease in the bog producers due to so many factors I could not even begin to guess, or are people back eating meat in much higher quantities?
Time to do some sleuthing
Yeah we just go to our local butcher place. Stuff is cheaper there.
