Dbacks re-sign Grichuk. Boo!
Cardinals and Red Sawx having Arenado talks.
Bregman may need to move his ass before there’s no more chairs left.

I really expect Jobe to be in the rotation in time for Tigers get a draft pick for him if wins rookie awards.
I saw an ESPN article that said if we don’t sign Bregman this offseason, we could wait until next year and try and sign Kyle Tucker.
I’d prefer that second option honestly.

For only 5 mill. Good deal.
No doubt. Tigers could then move Vierling to 3rd and save a ton on not spending on bregman
Vierling at 3rd base was pretty scary last year.
With Bregman, you are getting golden glove type defense.
I expect Bichette to have a bounce back year in his contract here and be honest I’d rather give him the money than bregman and let McGonagall go to second base and then in a couple years you can figure out between bichette and Rainier who’s going to take third. It’s a perfect move would be Tucker Though agreed
I dont see the Tigers making a big move. I could see a trade. I also dont think Jung is the answer at 3rd as well.
Bichette’s bat is coming back for sure if healthy. His arm is pretty weak though. I think he’s a second basemen playing short. Most Jays fans agree. Noodle arms tons of throws to 1st often. 1st basemen needs a vacuum. But he can hit when healthy.
The pre Spring training player stories have begun.
Cobb already hurt. Who didn’t see that coming
That sucks… How do you get hurt already? Are they even throwing yet?
He had surgery on his left hip last year that pretty much cost him the whole season.
Now it’s his right hip. He started to experience problems while building his throwing volume for spring training.
So he’s got 2 bad hips… And pushing 40! Lol Well my Jays signed Mad Max, he will probably throw 7, maybe 8 innings this year before his arm falls off.
The Rays announced Wednesday that they’ve acquired righty Mason Englert from the Tigers in exchange for minor league lefty Drew Sommers . Tampa Bay opened a 40-man roster spot by transferring southpaw Nate Lavender to the 60-day IL. Englert was designated for assignment in Detroit last week.
Maeda just got his roster spot crack to squeeze through.
I mean you can’t be as bad as he was last year, given he’s pretty good the year before
Or, hear me out it’s an opening to go trade for Dylan Cease.
Also heard that there is a Justin Turner Plan B for notnsigning Bregman. That would see Vierling at 3b Turner at DH and Carp in RF w Perez seeing platoon side work for Carp.
