Obviously opening day would be nice, but with spring training I don’t know if there’s another day any team would really like to have a decision by.
Jays tried that last year…Turner was pretty cooked. He’s also 40. Can hit lefties still. But as an every day dh very mediocre. Can play 1st a bit still. Absolutely can’t play 3rd ever. His arm is now a noodle.

I think it comes down to Jobe or Montero for the fifth spot and believe it goes to Jobe. The Tigers pitching staff can do more to help Jobe than Toledo’s.
Torkelson, W Perez, Sweeney and Baez all on the roster.
Once Vierling and Meadows return things will get interesting. Meadows will need at least a month in Toledo in my opinion
Man those Meadow brothers cant stay healthy. He was a making nice strides last few months last year. Lets hope that doesn’t slow him down
