This is supremely disappointing. Multiple sources had the Lions going after him. I know we’ll never get confirmation but this feels like a swing and a miss.

As much as I wanted him, I just couldn’t pay that price. That blows the top off the market, outside of Chris Jones/Aaron Donald, who are DPOY type players. He is getting 3mil AAV more than Matibuike.

Agreed, I don’t see them giving market setting deals in FA. If Hunter is looking for 25mil+ too, I think we would be out on him as well.
